... born in August 1979, she discovered her love for music at the age of eight. Looking back at her childhood photos, it’s easy to see that music was always in her blood, even at nearly three years old, she loved playing on her dad’s drums. That’s where it all began, ... . Amazing :-)
... she attended music school, where she learned drums, percussion, and later piano. As a drummer, she played in harmony orchestras and school cover bands. One day, when the female singer of one band was fired, she decided to give singing a try, and at just 15 years old, she discovered her voice. Her first band was called Nonsense. After many rehearsals, performances, and collaborations, she joined Alcatraz – Sunrise, a band that covered “oldies” and “country” songs, as she liked to say.
... finally, after a few lineup changes, Timeless was born in 2005. Candy managed to bring together some of the most respected musicians from Luxembourg’s coverband scene, and with the new lineup, the setlist evolved too over over two decades. They’ve been rocking, still rocking and loving every minute of it, ever since 2005!
... in 2022, Candy’s passion for original sound led to a new chapter: Frosty Candy, a rock band with a pinch of pop, inspired by the powerful women of 90s rock. The five-piece band hails from the frosty, scenic heights of northern Luxembourg, blending energy, emotion, and melody into a modern yet nostalgic sound.
Her favorite singers include Anouk, Pink, Jewel, Beth Hart, Adele, Joss Stone, Aerosmith… for the moment! :-)
