Pierre Stockreiser | Vocals
… born in October 1967. A rock music addict since his early youth, Pierre’s heroes back then were bands like Pink Floyd, Kiss, Queen, Genesis and Marillion. A little bit too young to be there ;-), he once watched a well-known cover band from Luxembourg perform Whitesnake’s “Here I go again” in the original 1982 version at a local marquee festival – and he knew from that moment on that he wanted to become the singer in a rock band one day.
... a few years later, things got serious: Pierre took solfège and singing lessons, joined the cover band AWACS, and co-founded the band Big Love together with Timeless guitarist Robi Brachmond and former Timeless members Christiane Hoffmann (keyboards, vocals) and Serge Kieffer (drums), performing their own songs.
In the ‘90s, AWACS became one of Luxembourg’s most popular cover bands, playing week after week to audiences of more than a thousand people. From those years on the road, he’s gathered a treasure chest of unforgettable memories – mostly funny stories – that could fill an entire book.
... after leaving AWACS in 1998, Pierre joined Vertical Smile, a melodic crossover rock band that reached the Emergenza Competition final in 2001 and released, among others, the single “Aeroplane”, which stayed in the national Top 10 radio charts for several weeks that same year.
... after Vertical smile split in 2002, Pierre hung up the mic, swapped it for some triathlon gear, enjoyed plenty of time with his family, lost some hair, and kept his love for rock music alive as a listener – until the famous singer Candy Windeshausen pulled him out of musical retirement and invited him back on stage to join the legendary Timeless. “What can I say, man – it’s rock ’n’ roll. The magic is back. See you on the road!”
